Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This policy covers leatham.com and the desktop applications published by Leatham (FBL Consulting Ltd), including Browser Picker. We built Browser Picker to run entirely on your device, so there isn't much to disclose — but here's the detail.

Browser Picker (Windows app)

What it does

Browser Picker intercepts links and lets you choose which browser profile opens them. It can remember your choice as a rule for a given site.

Data we collect

None. Browser Picker makes no network requests, contains no analytics or telemetry, and does not communicate with Leatham or any third party. There is no account, no sign-in and nothing to collect.

Data stored on your device

Browser Picker stores two things locally, and only locally:

  • Your saved rules (which browser profile to use for which site), in %LOCALAPPDATA%\BrowserPicker\rules.json.
  • Standard Windows registry entries needed to register the app as an available browser and to create its Start Menu shortcut.

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app (browser_picker.exe --uninstall) removes the registry entries; deleting the file above removes your saved rules.

Permissions

Browser Picker reads your installed Chrome and Edge profiles (names and avatars) from files already on disk, purely to show them in its picker UI. This information is never transmitted anywhere.
